Planning on going to this year's Penny Arcade Expo? Still on the fence about it? Well, either way, you're probably going to want to take a look at the schedule, which has been posted online for all to see.
Looking it over, it seems like there's going to be a ton of stuff to do, including multiple panels devoted to pitching games, something about Strong Bad, and lots of opportunities to line up for stuff.
Oh hey, we'll be there, too! We'll be around for most of the thing, which runs from 8/29 to 8/31. But the mostest specialest time of the whole expo? Saturday, 8/30, 5:30PM. That's when you're going to want to be in the Walrus Theatre to witness the greatest panel discussion that has even been paneled in the history of panels, The Giant Bomb Reunion Tour 2008!
That's right, we're chairing our own panel at the show and dragging out some of our old friends, including Rich Gallup, the 38 Studios employee who is perhaps best known for inventing Fluff. We'll also be joined by Alex Navarro of Harmonix, who will bring his exciting new recipe for Hobo Cobbler!
We'll talk a bit about "the old days" and talk about everything from how we went about building Giant Bomb to what it's like to transition from writing about games to assisting in their creation.
Oh, and charts. Lots of charts. So be ready to take notes. I'm super excited to be going this year. Seems like I've been trying to go to PAX for the past couple of years now only to be thwarted by total nonsense.
One more time, that's 5:30PM on 8/30 in the "Walrus Theatre." If you're at PAX and you miss this, we're totally never going to forgive you.
