Phew, Descent WiiWare Still in Development...Wait, What?

Nostalgia of my friend's old overworked voodoo cards comes rushing back.

I could go for a new Descent.

WiiMotion Plus six axis navigation. Oh man, that would be so sick in many ways.

I'd buy an updated Descent on WiiWare if it controlled well.

Who got nauseous playing Descent? I played that game for three years straight and never got sick playing it.

I bought a Saitek Cyborg Evo on the off chance that a) I would replay the Descent and Freespace games, and b) that maybe, possibly, someday they'd make a modern Descent or Freespace. That zero-g ship section in Red Faction: Armageddon is the closest I've seen yet to a modern Descent.

Also really curious to see how a Wiiware version of Descent works! Can't even figure out how the flight controls would work.

Just reminded me of picking up Descent and Tunnel B1 on the same day, one game got played the hell out of, the other got played once. I still don't know what Tunnel B1 was meant to be.

Man, I could remember playing Descent on the computer they had in my homeroom in middle school. Those were the days.

Oh man, now I just need some Fury 3 and Terminal Velocity!

i missed out on Decent, never played one, so i wouldn't mind checking it out at this point to see what the talk is about.

Descent on the 3DS might be the game that actually gives me motion sickness. 

I bought all the Descents at a thrift store in mint condition a few months back. Still haven't played them yet.

I really, really like patrick and i think he is the best thing that has happend to giantbomb in a long while.

I have the OpenGL port of Descent 2 on my computer as we speak. I was able to play it off the disk (DOS Box is the coolest thing ever), but couldn't resist high resolution.

I'd play a remake of Descent. Damn fun game.

Personally, I liked the Virtual Boy version. I lost my vision, but games couldn't have gotten any better then that anyway, right?

Finally a title i might buy from wiiware

OMG the Descent game?! Man, that is soooo ancient.

I was 14 when Descent came out. We played it on school computers(We just got new computers). Never had any stomach problems.
I feel old.

Are they going to make it less nausea inducing? I hope so. I hope that's the reason for the delay. I remember how motion sick this game used to make me. Nothing made me more sick, though, than Wolfenstein 3D

It was a bad game then. Men stuck with quake.

The only things I remember from Descent are tunnels and feeling sick.

I remember having a copy of Descent 3. I was pretty young at the time, and pretty confused as to what I should be doing
