Playing Cops and Robbers in Paradise

That's a pretty tall order, Nordberg.

The folks at Criterion have a certain knack for tickling the pleasure centers in my brain. Rather than post a straight, boring video explaining how the upcoming Cops and Robbers pack for Burnout Paradise will work, they open the latest episode of Crash TV with a fake Police Squad! intro sequence, then proceed to play the game raucously why wearing half-ass cops and robbers costumes. What's shown of the new mode makes it look like a pretty familiar team-based, capture-the-flag-type game, but damn of those guys don't make it look like fun.

Is this add-on free?

Man, the guys at Criterion are awesome. Looks like they've got a great work place.

Haha, that is some good PR. I like the look of this pack, and they certainly make it seem fun.

That looks like a ton of fun! Can't wait.

Any reference to Naked Gun and Police Squad gets two big ol' thumbs up from me!  Nice work, Criterion!

Do we know pricing yet?

Multiplayer Only?

Great Vid, but the game mode looks a bit... dry.

"Mrs. Nordberg, we're not going to rest until we've solved this case.  Now let's go get a bite to eat."

Now I'm going to be thinking of Naked Gun quotes all day.  Haha!

SOLD

Now if only I had the money for it...

This looks awesome man.  @Scooper-It is a paid download.

i almost shat my pants in excitement in the split-second that i thought this article was about a Naked Gun video game.

Posted by SuperMooseman

I thought this DLC was going to add police chases in the game like the Need for Speed franchise does it. I didn't realise all is just an online mode. Will probably still get it.

No, this is the last paid add-on.

This might be my reason to buy Burnout. D: >

Posted by NeoReaper

that was cool but they should have the cops chased the robber, that would be awesome

Posted by solidpython

Any excuse is a good excuse to use a Police Squad picture!

Posted by Sharpshooter

I woukd buy that,

looks pretty

So that's what it looks like when you get paid to play video games.

This is awesome, other then the part where I ask myself will I ever stop playing Burnout Paradise

Great vid.

Great content, it looks like. Very excited.

Posted by GreggD

I thought the concept could be kind of dodgy, but this actually looks like fun. Now, if only I could persuade my friends to buy it, as well...

Posted by Milkman

That looked ridiculously fun.

Posted by Captain_Insano

looks pretty good and an interesting way to expand burnouts online play

Posted by zerok

*sigh* if they continue that way, I will probably never get to play any other game ...

Posted by JackiJinx

Take me down to the paradise city!

Seriously though, couldn't look at more than two minutes of that video. Much too long.

Posted by Gmanall

Super cool, Cops and Robbers has always been a good MP type.

Posted by Tarakun

I'm off to play more Burnout Paradise. I'm not even close to being through the content that's already in there.

Posted by Maxszy

Woot! This looks good!

Though I have to admit, I was hoping it would be more of a "cops chasing robbers" reminiscent of the original NFS days. No one makes it like that anymore, and that was good.

Posted by KnifeySpoony

Looks awesome, they're still coming out with new content 15 months after the game came out. Great support from Criterion.

Posted by natetodamax

It better be free. I don't think I would pay for something like that.

for free once more!

Ryan, the amount of typos in this article scare me.

Doesn't everyone spell "while" as "why"? :P

Although I do the always-fun dosage of Cops N' Robbers, I just can't lay down the bones for this add-on.

Hmmm...Interesting...very interesting...
