My only question is...when can we expect a Sim City movie from this guy?!  IT WOULD BE SHEER GENIUS.

I think this would be the dumbest idea Ratner has ever come up with. They should also find another director for God of War. That's just terrible...

Don't fall for it Jeff! They paid this guy to say this so that people will buy all of the GH games to make sure that it stays a success.

Nobody and I mean NO-BODY needs to make a Guitar Hero Movie.

If they want a Guitar Hero Segment in a movie completely unrelated to Guitar Hero, then go for it. But we don't need a movie completely centered around a Rhythm Game played with plastic instruments.

I'll be doing my part to ensure this does not come to pass. GH:WT AND RB2 will be mine.

Who cares if he does make one? I can't see how a Guitar Hero film would have any connection to the videogame franchise anyway, it's not like there's some sort of rich backstory to be abused or whatever. Just what should we expect? A segment portraying a live performance of someone wielding a fake plastic Gibson whilst a note chart scrolls along the bottom of the screen? Yeah, that'd be awesome. *I* should direct it.

The article is written like anyone *but* Brett Ratner could make a decent movie out of it, which frankly is utter shite.

wow, I had already heard of this, but I didn't think that the guitar hero game would actualy be in the movie. I thought it would be about a guitar hero himself. If someone is actually playing GH in th movie will someone please shoot me? I wonder what console the boy will play it on?
