Team Fortress 2 zealots love special hats, weapons, and items, so it's no surprise that Poker Night at the Inventory, a Telltale Games mash-up poker game featuring TF2's chaingun-toting Heavy, will offer more digital trinkets for Valve's perennial shooter. Just for pre-ordering the title from the Telltale Store, you'll get access to the Heavy's poker visor in TF2, and for playing the game for a bit, you'll get access to even more unlocks for your TF2 characters.
Specifically, you'll get other items (five total) by winning "Item Rounds," which are essentially hands in which opposing characters offer personal items as the ante. The full list of TF2 unlocks you can obtain, including the TF2 characters they're meant for, is just below:

I had thought this had been out for a while. I've been seeing it on the Steam Specials list continuallly since it was announced at PAX. I just assumed it'd come out. For the record, I think it's an attempt to make yet another poker game interesting. And if you really like poker, do you want to watch all the animations over and over? I imaine it's like Battle Chess was. It was fun precisely until you saw every animation, after that it was chess but slower.
The TF2 items are appealing, but the idea that I'd have to play poker to earn most of them is a big turn off.

I pre-ordered this from telltale store as soon as they annouced and already received and activated my code. Nice deal including the discount from merch at the telltale store. I already had the Lugermorph (one of the Devil's Playhouse bonus) and it's awesome, I'm glad they gave people a second chance to get it.
