Punch-Out!! Two-Player, Giga Mac Revealed

Oh I think it will work out fine Ryan. I can see this mode getting the most attention easily.

I cannot wait for all the trash talking that will ensue in my household while playing this. It should be awesome.

I'm not sure with this game, I've never played Punch Out!! before and boxing isn't really my thing...plus, it looks really easy. I might rent it sometime.

This is the first time I see the addition of extra stuff counted as a potential bad thing... Even if the head to head mode isn't something that will last until the end of time, surely it's nice to have the option? I'm certainly intrigued to see how it plays knowing you can't simply have a set pattern to expect from your opponent. Giga Mac looks cool and only appears in the multi player so it's not like they mess with the meat of the game which remains true to its legacy. It's just too bad they couldn't call him Big Mac. And yes it's too bad the first half of the trailer is recycled, but hey, I'd rather play it for myself than see all the fighters and victories on video. I don't get what the "uh" was about there either. Am I missing something?

I cannot stress how badly you need to rectify that, the original on NES is awesome fun. It may seem ridiculously simple a game, but don't underestimate the fun you can gain from it. It has something quite endearing about it.

Quite frankly most people online are absoulte dicks who take their rage out for geting raped talking to you or quit every match they get in

Local split screen multiplayer is the way to go with these games, any other way and you will lose a great deal of the enjoyment factor.

More games need local splitscreen modes so I can play with my roomates and boyfriend. You know, the way games need to be played, with other people. Online's great but it just doesn't compare. Glad to see an awesome mode here.

I'm not digging the sound effects that play when you hit your opponent, but it looks like a good looking game nonetheless.

Giga Mac is an awesome, and very smart, idea.

WHen playing multiplayer, and if you just faced normal mac the whole time, you'd just follow his patterns and know what he's going to do, it would get boring, all of a sudden, your opponent is Giga Mac, and you have to re adjust your strategy.

I'd have to play it myself to see how well a versus mode would work.

I need a friend who owns a Wii, who really isn't a friend, so I can punch them out and steal their bike, er, I mean console.

I think I will have to take off the dust from my wii to play this......ohh super punch out.......what a memories
