Real-Life Paperboy

Grown men re-enact scenes from Paperboy in fantastic fashion.

Paperboy's a great game with some of the best music in the history of the world. Someone should sample the music from Paperboy and include it in some kind of filthy rap song or something. But enough about that. Let's talk about this. It's some dudes presenting a pretty good bit called "Paperboy in Real Life."

Yes, I knew someone agreed with me on Paperboy's music!

oh man, that's awesome, This is kind of what I picture the 'In The Can' Suburban All Stars music video to be like :))

Haha, that is very funny. Nice job with that.

The little fuck deserved it. Poor guy just wanted his paper.

Awesome stuff

Best part:
"Roger, you are not going to throw my good tire at that boy."
"Get in the gawd damn house ya whore."

Loved it.  I was terrible at that game.

Ha ha ha, that's great! Well, he did get his paper even after he canceled his subscription.

That was not funny at all. I kept waiting for some kind of punchline but it never came. Poorly acted and even poorly presented.

Posted by RichardLOlson

Thats too funny.  I like he said "Go in the house you whore"....and his wife just turns around and does nothing.  It would be funny in the directors cut the wife ends up fucking the neighbor.

Posted by Box3ru13

That was great, I forgotten about all the stupid stuff the game would throw at you to make you crash.

Posted by jakob187

Eh, it was pretty good.

Posted by Stevokenevo

Frickin hilarious.  I like the ridiculousness of it being serious to be funny.

Nice.

Didn't even smile. :/

Kinda funny. I laughed more at the little Tim and Eric reference that Jeff threw in at the end of the article.

Great Job!

The original game has a special place in my heart.

Ehhhhhhhh.  Didn't find it the least bit funny.

Mega 64 did it much better as far as making me laugh goes.

Posted by Xander51

That was fantastic, loved it. The idea of an irate man coming up with all of the various Paperboy obstacles is genius. It helps the game actually make some sense!

what the hell was with there accents? o.O

Edited by ChrisTilton

Why do the residents have horrible British accents that come and go? Is there a punchline to this bit? I couldn't find it.

Hahahahaha now I can't play Paperboy without hearing the lyrics to In The Can in my head.

mega64s paperboy vid is better :\

Posted by Kohe321

Fantastic!

Posted by Ineedaname

The "get in the goddamn house..." had me in stitches, ah that was awesome.

Posted by Monkeyman04

That was funny as hell. Had me laughing through out.

I loved me some Paperboy back in the day.
Pro-Tip: The Sega Master System version of the game was far superior to the NES version.  (Unfortunately this is one of the rare instances that SMS wins, with Double Dragon being the other.)
Only the arcade was better.

It was better if nothing else because that guy had no fucking clue as to what was going on at freaking 4 am, in the  dark deliverying papers.  He soo had to ask himself if he was dreaming, or maybe he needed to lay off his drug of choice.

Great Job! is right.

Haha silly.
Loved the game when I was a kid.

I loved his multiple accents, makes it 15 times better IMO.

I hate arcade Paperboy music, NES soundtrack was much better. No freakin' cowbell.
