Resident Evil 5 Headed To The PC Later This Year

Capcom's zombie-romp is now official for the PC and will support 3D-specs.

In a press release this morning Capcom officially announced Resident Evil 5 is coming to the PC later this year. Also, Street Fighter IV and Bionic Commando are on track to hit the WIndows platform in July. Jeff's got a whole lot more info on the Street Fighter IV stuff in a previous story so I'd check there for information on the achievements and improvements made for that game. Here's a quote from the release detailing what Resident Evil 5 PC gamers have to look forward to:

The PC version of Resident Evil 5 will feature online play for co-operative play sessions over the internet and will also take advantage of NVIDIA®’s new GeForce® 3D Vision technology (wireless 3D Vision glasses sold separately).
Dude. 3D glasses? Sold. After doing a little research on the technology I found this ridiculous video experiment on YouTube which tries to mimic the effect by making you cross your eyes while looking at two very similar videos running at the same time. The video shows off a version of Crysis using NVIDIA's technology, not Resident Evil 5, but it might be interesting to see if you can actually train your eyes to make it work. I don't know about you, but all I saw was a sailboat.
