Resistance 2 Beta Closes This Week

Word out of the Underground--the PlayStation Underground, that is--brings us the stop date for the R2 beta.

E-mails out to members of the PlayStation Underground have gone out to inform us all about the end of the Resistance 2 beta. It'll close down this week, at midnight on October 30.

This gives Sony and Insomniac a chunk of time to clean up after the beta and prep their servers for 60-player chaos as soon as the full retail hits stores next week, on November 4. Keep your fingers crossed, R2 fans. Sony hasn't exactly had the best of luck with launch day server stability these days.

Have you been enjoying the beta? Is it selling you on the final product?

Is this game the most important Sony release of the season? Or are you a LittleBigPlanet sort of guy/gal?

Can I fit any more questions at the end of this article? Should I do laundry tonight?

Really enjoyed the beta. 60 player matches were pretty cool and worked fine.

I am a LBP sort of gal. You can ask as many questions as you like, it's part of the beauty of having your own website. My personal laundry theory is that as long as you have clean underwear, or are willing to go without, laundry can always wait another day.

Yes I like the beta, except that matchmaking doesn't always work (It's a beta though... right?).  Co-op is super cool and I can't wait to see it on all the coming maps.

I already pre-ordered and paid in full two months ago for the CE, so I was sold before the beta.

No LBP is Sony's big release, this game is for their core audience.  I am more into R2 than LBP.  I am waiting a month before I wear out on R2 to get LBP.  I cant wait to start building levels though.

Its your website, you can fit as many freekin questions as you want.

Depends on how many days straight you have been wearing that shirt.  Is it the blue polo with white stripes or the one that says, "T-Shirt!" across it... that one rocks.

More importantly (for me anyway)  the person doing the review pretty much confirmed everything I wanted to see in R2. A fast, tight 10 our single player campaign (perfect length for action games), deep online co-op and competitive portions make for what should be a ridiculous amount of replay value.

beta was crap. confirmed that i wont be picking this up unless its from the bargain bin... even then probably not
