Rumor: Telltale Games Is Developing A The Walking Dead Game

man I can't even imagine what this will be, and yet I still want it so bad.

since it's developed by telltale we can assume it's a point and click adventure game.

This is awesome i love Back to the Future and now their making Jurassic Park and Walking Dead..............Awesome.

I love Telltale, I hope they can pull this off.  I will say I am loving their track record so far, where licensed properties are concerned.

I hope the whole surviving/living-in a post zombie apocalypse world idea doesn't get too over used by the time Dead State comes out. Let's keep it in the L4D hoard slaying realm in the mean time, other devs.

Telltale is my new best friend.  I LOVE J-Park and The Walking Dead.

Hopefully its good,, a licensed property in a landscape of other zombie games, and not cashing in on a hot property, detracting from it instead of adding.

It changes life as we know it because he can bring people/things back to life with a touch, but if he leaves them alive something/someone else dies.  Actually, thinking about it, Telltale could probably make a pretty cool game based on Pushing Daisies, since the show was a detective show with a mystery that involved finding clues and talking to (dead) people. "

Tell Tale is really moving up in the world. I wonder what percentage of their audience is old-school gamers, and how many are recent converts. Even in the casual market, I don't feel that casuals have a good grasp on old-school adventure games.

I own the entire season 1 and all future episodes via Amazon for $5, which I still have to watch, but hopefully I will like it and be interested in the game!

I'm from the UK and I don't think the shows has surfaced here yet, however I have read some of the paperbacks and they're certainly not bad.  
 
More interested in something Jurassic park related though. The original film was brilliant as a spectacle even if the plot or characters weren't of the same grade. Would like to see what Tell tale have done, as I found the sequels to be far too familiar to be enjoyable.

I would love to see that, especially if its plot is at the same level as the comics. Would be cool if the visuals are in black and white as well.

Love the show, Love the comics even more. But as for a game? I don't know, you can only interpret that story so many times. Having read the comics up to number 80 I already know who is going to die. And with Kirkman as a producer I am pretty sure he will make sure that the characters who die in the books will die in the show.
