Shinobu Gets All Playable In No More Heroes 2

That Travis Touchdown was always such a hog for the spotlight.

Here's another excellent trailer from No More Heroes 2: Desperate Struggle's promotional campaign, this one showing off returning character Shinobu--who's now playable in the sequel.

In other No More Heroes news, Ubisoft put out video of some of the new 8-bit minigames coming in the sequel, just in case you were wondering if this game would in fact be weirder than the last.

Creepy boob jiggling at 0:18 in the first vid.

Shinobu's voice is alittle weak, doesn't fit the character at all. Shinobu Jacobs?? really jacobs?

I don't know about you, but if I'm cooking a steak and it fails to appease the appetite of the person I'm serving to in which case he throws a fork into my skull, I'm likely to be pissed off. However Travis retains a strong workforce mentality to subside the pain in order to serve the next patron so he can properly earn a monetary sum of money to purchase a new anime shirt. This is how the economy can better itself, by observing this behavior.

This was the first gameplay footage i've ever seen of this game. Just like I did with the first one, I try to limit myself to all media about this game, so when I finally get my hands on it I'll be surprised.

I couldn't resist though. I had to watch at least half of the Shinobu trailer. Needless to say I am stoked.

I am so pumped for this. I love the first one.

Wait... didn't Travis cut off one of Shinobu's arm in the first game? Or am I mixing things up?

Probably one of the only Wii game that anyone would look forward to. Also one of the only -good- third party game for the Wii, or well a sequel to that.

Yup, still crazy

No More Heroes 2 is a Wii game that excites me, and it is not made by Nintendo--strange. I hope the main quest will be longer.

@zitosilva:

Yes, she did lose her hand, but she somehow gets it back by the ending of the game.

@EndlessMike: I think we're better off not knowing the answer to that question.

I had the same reaction. That name just doesn't work for me at all. Then again, I said the same thing about "Travis Touchdown". *shudder*

NMH is still one of my most enjoyed by me WIi games. It was damn far from being perfect but it was great fun, and got much more entertaining towards the end. I have been waiting for this game a while, and I just hope the minigames are gonna be more 'streamlined' control wise and shorter, do more wario ware ripoff stuff.

@Reverseface: It's supposed to be weird like that. She is supposed to be a mix between two stereotypes - the black person with an afro, and a ninja. So, even her name is a mix up of those things - Shinobu, a very ninja-esque Japanese name, and Jacobs, a name you'd hear from any old suburb. Get it? I love Suda 51.

I like how every customer in the cooking game is the same black man in different clothes :P
