You've spent big cheese on a new 3D-capable HDTV. Now you want to control how you'll view your games. Good news: the studio behind the Sly Cooper HD collection is chewing on the idea of instituting a 3D depth control toggle, similar to that of the hardware-side capabilities of the Nintendo 3DS.
It's all in the name of control. According to a producer speaking to Kotaku during an event in New York, this sort of 3D depth toggle will give users the power to adjust unique viewing distances or angles, battling a problem that 3D-capable TVs and even the 3DS have: you gotta be in the right place to see the 3D correctly.
Sony has recently announced that The Sly Collection, a package that includes Sly Cooper and the Thievius Raccoonus, Sly 2: Band of Thieves and Sly 3: Honor Among Thieves will go on sale at 40 bones this November. It will support 3D, of course, and also PlayStation Move mini-games.
