There, the package--including Half-Life 2 and its first two episodic expansions, Team Fortress 2, and the sublime Portal--is 66 percent off its regular price. As an example, Valve points out that in the U.S., this sale brings the price down to an uncomfortably low $9.99. That's five full, excellent games for less than an evening movie ticket in a lot of places.
Maybe you should just go buy a second copy and gift it to someone. How can you afford to miss out on shenanigans like these?

I recently bought Team Fortress 2 for 7 pounds/11ish dollars, and I thought that was a crazy deal, but now you can get the whole thing for cheaper? Buying this is like MAKING money!
People should definitely get in on this. Half-Life 2/Episode 1/Episode 2 are great single-player games. Team Fortress 2 is very much alive and kicking, probably more so than it is on consoles. Portal, which I shamefully haven't finished BUT have played, is really good. Lots of people probably loved it more for the indie vibe, but I thought it was good. Not "I'm gonna keep saying the cake is a lie and listen to Coulton from now on forever" good.
Wow, I was looking for a copy of the PC version of orange box at local retail, but this price beats anything I've seen so far in stores. Will definitely buy. Thanks for the heads up.
I was actually going to order TOB from a retailer for €20. Lucky for me I was too lazy to do it. :)
Yeah, I should have grabbed this a long time ago but when it was released I didn't feel like paying €50 for "three games" and somewhere along the line I figured I'd grab this and L4D together in some package or together with Ep3, finishing the saga.
I can't believe the PC version is selling at $27 or $30. Just a heads up to console only owners, 360 or PS3 version can be bought new for $20 most places.

@lordandrew it isnt only the price of a single game, it is actually half the price of team fortress 2 on its own... i had a feeling they would do a deal like this some time soon so i have been scouting tf2 for the past 2 weeks lol... (kinda cant afford games at full price very often)
$10 is worth it alone if you still haven't played Portal. Through in TF2 and all the free content it's gotten since its release, and this is a no-brainer. Buy it now, and I'll see you in Badwater Basin.
You should be ashamed of yourself if you haven't picked up this game yet. Even at full price I thought it was probably the best game deal ever and now it's going for $10!! That's $2 a game!!
