The Final Hours of The Matrix Online, Live!

I caught about the last hour and a half of it, was good fun, lot's of laughs and very romantic. Now I know, come the end of the world, getting semi-naked and snogging some random girl will be just as acceptable as getting my pink bathrobe and holding hands with what sounds like a mexican comedian.

Watching these NLT episodes makes me pretty sad that I didn't get into MxO back in the day. No doubt it's totally uncool to admit this here, but I really like The Matrix franchise. Sequels, action games, animated spin-offs and comics included.

Sucks I missed it. :(

I fell asleep in the middle of it and woke up at 5am (2am Pacific) slumped over on my laptop to find that the stream ended.

That was awsome guys, thx for all your effort. Even though the end was a bit anti-climatic (even compared to how they ended the beta) the whole thing was a kickass event. Also, happy birthday Jeff!!!!!!!

I was in the middle of yawning and when Vinny said "remember the presidents day event where we all bought cars". I didn't get to finish the yawn as I busted out laughing. I felt like I needed to yawn for about 10 minutes but couldn't.

This was so awesome.

But there was so much Lady Gaga. It was stuck in my head for the rest of the day.

I started watching during the last half hour right around when the depressed  guy was dancing in the street.  What a hilarious way to begin my live MXO viewing. Too bad I missed the first hour and a half though. Hope they do something like this again.

I was moving, so I missed the event which makes me even more sad about missing it after I watched it...lol

I think doing more things for the users is great, but it just makes me kind of annoyed and frustrated when I miss these live events. I've gotten so used to on-demand and time-shifted TV, not to mention Internet video, that I haven't had to work my schedule around a broadcast for such a long time.

I think doing live events is fine as long as there is always an "any time" archived version available. Perhaps getting the last hour is enough, I don't really know how lively it was so I can't say if I missed anything.

Looking at the numbers of users watching the live stream versus the number of unique users downloading the archived version will probably give you a good idea of the ratio of users potentially left out who were interested in this.

Well that was pretty interesting an hour of getting ganked, kissing, dacing, fondling and some quite funny jokes.

edit: and now I can't stop thinking about lady gaga.

Damn, I missed it. Now it is time to watch it....old. Still fun though.

I find it funny that you can still download the game client and that on the official website, it says that the servers are "open".
