The Giant Bomb PAX Panel: Video Included

Watch the five-part saga that is our hour-long panel from the Penny Arcade Expo.

Hey gang. This year's Penny Arcade Expo may be over, but it's never too early to relive the magic for the first time with our five-part panel series entitled The Giant Bomb Reunion Tour 2008. This standing-room-only panel discussion covers the creation of the site, as well as other important topics from our special guests, Rich Gallup, Matthew Rorie, and Alex Navarro.

SEE my handheld video camera mere moments before we lost it!

HEAR hecklers from the crowd like IGN's Jason Ocampo and Blizzard's Bob Colayco.

WATCH IN HORROR as everything you thought you knew about video games is blown away forever... or not.

Hey people! Thanks for coming!
We'll also have a separate video of the expo floor at PAX, where we saw games! And even played a few! Slides from the panel will be made available in the near future. Thank you Seattle! Good night!

Also, if you're looking for more PAX panel magic, Destructoid had a panel immediately prior to ours, which they filmed and posted. They announced plans to post something called the Mega Man Maker, which looks totally crazy and neat, so stay tuned for that.

After seeing so many people in the audience it is amazing to see the respect Giant Bomb commands in the games industry with regards to developers, publishers and the gaming public alike... and after only a couple of months active.

I hope to see Giant Bomb develop and become a node between the people who make games and the people who play games. I would expect to see developers and publishers visiting Giant Bomb in the early states of development and scaning through the databases trying to find out what it is about particular games that makes people switch on to them.

Giant Bomb members will be able to directly influence future game development decisions by adding information to the site editing and creating new  blog pages about their favourite games, genres, concepts and gaming history.
Awesome sauce!

Any chance of a straight up AUDIO version of the panel?

When you guys leave for vacation, oops I mean conventions are you going to just stop working on the site?  Several games have either launched or are about to launch and while every other game site has a review up the only thing being updated on this site is your PAX blog.   Get back to work!

With love - NGFOM
