The Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II E3 2010 Trailer

Not gonna lie, that trailer was awesome. Too bad he won't ever be that strong in-game.

Awwww, fuck.  Clones?  Goddammit, that's the last thing I wanted to see in this game.  Again, they succeeded so much with the actual story of the last game, especially in making Starkiller such a likeable character, the fact that "HEY HE'S A CLONE!" isn't exactly getting me that excited for the game. 
 
If they improve the gameplay and balance of the last game, then definitely I'll check it out, I am just not super into them messin' up the what was so good about the first game.

Maybe this is just me, and maybe the game is awesome, but I was reading up on it and the character names are killing me. They sound like awful fan fiction, but I'm not quite sure why.

I feel this game is going in the complete opposite direction of what it should be.
 
For one, even though it is Star Wars, the story is really stretching it.  How exactly does this fit into the established movie timeline?  The first game was fine, but now we're going up against Vader, etc, again?  This feels to me like it's going to be sub EU canon. 
 
And in terms of gameplay, the best part of the first game was when you were Vader, trashing everything with your force powers.  Why have they chose to focus on fighting the big, imune to force power, robots?  I want to see a biger focus on the force powers, not the sub-par lightsaber/glow stick hack and slash mechanics.
 
I also have to say the two lightsabers looks ridiculous.  Why would anyone fight like that?  It's stupid in every concievable way, and unless you're 14, it does not look cool.

this trailer was pretty cool. for one, the heavy light sabre action might suggest a better fighting system that has better sabre controls. if you only have seen this trailer it might seem as though that is the original starkiller.  i agree with everyone here that a clone is the worst "how can we ruin a decent ending to make more money" idea ever. i really hope they can change this although it is unliklely, and if they don't i'll just have to do my best to pretend that the original starkiller just miraculously survived and go from there with my own between chapter story.  
PS they used my favourite starwars song during the battle with all the clones about half way through.

oh where to start.
1st of all, a man that can crush robots with his mind is not gonna be bothered by chains. Who was the brightspark that thought "I know, lets put starkiller in chains. It'll be like awesome cos it'll look like there is no way he can get out" The entire opening premise was ridiculous.
 
2nd, when they chained him up i guess they didn't bother to think of removing his weapons. both of em for f**ks sake.
 
3rd, if he's that amazingly invincible powerful, how they hell did they chain him up in the first place.

Awesome trailer! I hope they improve the lightsaber combat. I know the focus of the last game was the force, but the lightsaber combat was very dissapointing, I want an all round star wars experience! :P  
I still don't understand which ending from the first this is supposed to follow.

 Wow this is really stupid. It pisses me that just now, we're hearing about this bad ass Vader apprentice that had a big impact on the whole of the Star War's franchise. He started to fall in love with that imperial pilot chick, who in turn went over to the good side and played a major role in establishing the Rebel Alliance. Also, a single Jedi was NEVER so powerful. It's ridiculous and it ruins Star Wars(or at least whatever is left of it). Starkiller is so much more powerful than Vader, and the Emperor, put together, why the fuck was he following them? Also, we have a protagonist called Starkiller, STARKILLER??? That has to be the stupidest fucking name I've ever heard

I didn't realise this game was popular enough to get a sequel. I still haven't gotten around to playing the first game yet, picked it up dirt cheap on steam and only played the first level so far.

That trailer didn't get me very excited for anything but the chance of fighting an army of yourself, which itself is pretty ridiculous.
 
Story wise I don't have very high hopes at all and I'm not really interested in fighting giant robots. We'll see.

I love how he was like, "Ah, no, pain, you're too powerfu-hah, nah I'm kidding. Eat lightning and die.", then went all stab-happy at that 4-legged thing near the end.

Dude pulled a star destroyer out of the sky in part 1. It was supposed to be this awesome impressive feat, but it ended up being the worst part of the game. I wanted to like the first force unleashed, but the controls were just horrible. Here's to hoping, I guess.

Just doesn't fit in with the Star Wars I used to like. Besides I can't stand all the oh look more powerful than Luke bullshit, when in the extended universe there are like 3 dudes more powerful than Luke, but Luke is still the most dogged.

Hopefully the bosses in this game actually take effort to beat.

I guess I really should play through the first one.
