Poor Danny Bilson. He signed so many cool people and games to THQ. To think that those projects may never see the light of day because of uDraw...

Part of me would feel totally satisfied if Saint's Row 4 had a straight up kart racing mini-game, and like straight up mario kart style shit was going down and your dude was just reacting to it.

I don't know. Platformers seem to be rather dead these days. Still, he can't do any worse than the last guy.

Man that's pretty awesome, good for Jason. Hopefully this'll be the start of good things for THQ.

Last few months have been pretty hard on THQ, but hopefully with a new president leading the ship it lead to better things for the company...I Hope. All the best tho.

Really don't like that guy. Also, he's way into the freemium model, so expect big changes from THQ in the near future.

As long as he keeps the sweet, sweet Saints Row goodness flowing, I'm on board.

Their games sold fine. It's the 1 million+ uDraw tablets they have sitting in a warehouse somewhere that almost bankrupted them. Sold well on the Wii, bet hard on it also selling on the 360 & PS3. That was a lost bet.

This is a roller-coaster that my heart just can't take.

I'm surprised Danny Bilson has left THQ as I thought THQ's core division was actual producing good games. There were some games that weren't that great but a lot of THQ's core titles were pretty good.

This is insane, last I heard he was doing facebook games with Gavin, now he's fucking running THQ? My heart can't take this.

It seems like the last thing I heard of Rubin was that awesome DICE keynote in 2004, where he advocated for the talent taking control of the industry and getting their due instead of giving publishers and marketing all the power. Then he fell off the radar for 8 years, and now this? Colour me intrigued.

Man I loved that talk at DICE, it made the man something of a game development hero to me. "The fist is not a mistake in these slides."

If this gets us more Saints Row.......then yes.

This is surprising. I was reading a book about the history of games recently and it sounds like he was burnt out by the early 2000s and didn't want to work in the game industry again

Danny Bilson seemed to always "announce" things that weren't actually true or so far off that the teams didn't want to talk about it. He seemed nice but speaking to the gaming press and staying on script were not his forte.
