Hope they add reverts to Tony Hawk 1.

Soundtrack or nothing.

I am considerably less interested since it's only 2/3 games and apparently not all of either. Oh well, still a step in the right direction.

Thank God it isn't a new "RIDE" enabled game. It boggles the mind that the RIDE peripheral ever got out of the concept phase.

For what it's worth, I loved the THPS games, the THUG games, and even American Wasteland. Long after the popularity started to wane, I still was finding some fun in those games. Until "Project 8" anyway. Even a die-hard fan has his limits.

Someone lent me THPS4 and I was totally wanting to dig it, but after I got past the character creator, the game's lack of a tutorial made sure that I didn't play any more of the game really fast.

Original Soundtrack and Spider-man as playable character with online or I'm not buying. It just needs it, badly.

That's too bad because that game's amazing.

2, 3, and 4 would have been a preferable collection imho.

2 is my favorite for all the memories my punk-rocking dad and I shared playing split screen.

The lack of 3 is highly disappointing. I really want to play that game again.

Ill take 1 and 2, add in the revert from 3 (did 3 really have any other meaningful gameplay additions? I didn't like it/play it much) and let er rip. If I can get it for 10, Ill be ok with the inevitable 3 or 4 track packs they'll release at 5 bucks each. I would seriously love the first three games, rebuilt to today's standards. I don't give two shits how much it costs me to get it.

yes... and yes... sounds good to me... yes. this is an HD collection I want... woah just got a bad thought that they would mess it up.

Activision finally does it but if you can't do it right then don't do it at all.

Not sure why people have such a fondness for THPS3. For me, that's when the series started to go down hill.

3 will be DLC. I'm calling it.

This isn't Crazy Taxi we're talking about here. The gameplay's still great.

I think we'll either get an all new soundtrack or remixes of the old ones.

THPS 2 was always my favorite, so I'm down with this.

i cant believe this franchise isnt DEAD yet. i loved tony hawk 2,3 and 4but then it took a nose dive off a cliff. give it up already.

I hope they keep the original control scheme. I could never get the hang of the Skate controls.

I'm probably the only person that wishes it was Mat Hoffman's Pro BMX 1 & 2 instead...

This is cool, but coming from a skater, I still like the Skate series better.

The moves in 3 were awesome, but the levels in THPS1 and 2 are more classic to me. I approve, but do hope that the cruise ship from 3 is in there. Whatevs, THPS3 had awesome levels too. I just remember the first game the best.

I enjoyed all the THPS games, as well as THUG. The level design was still solid in THUG, but in THUG2 thing went to shit. I blame that Margera kid.

Quoted for truth. THUG was still a flat-out amazing game.

Agree with 2, 3 and 4. Hoping it comes out on Steam at least.

Tony Hawk Pro Skater 2 was my game back in the day! I might get this if it turns out well!

Well it means we get to pay extra for THPS3! 

The comments in this thread prove most of us are in our early 20s. I'm glad for this game and what it did for me in my youth, but I don't think I need to play Tony Hawk games in 2012.

why not just go all the way? "selected levels" that sounds crappy. is it even a game? i'm a huge fan and i'll take any oldskool tony hawk game but this sounds really weird.

This interests me. Now announce the soundtrack stays the same, please!

Is it Project 8?

Is it THPS2?

Can i get off my board?

Personally i'd love to play the first Underground again.

Fuck yes. It's the game that got me hooked to punkrock, made me buy a skateboard (thereby defining that stage of my life), and in which I've probably put the most hours I've ever put in to a game. Definitely one of the best games ever, probably the most defining game I've ever played.

3 was okay but a bit boring at times, 4 was again very fun to play. I've played some of the later TH games on the Xbox and the 360, but those were never as fun as the THPS series.

I actually recently reinstalled THPS2 on my laptop, and it works perfectly. Got 100% in the Hangar in four or five runs, and a gold medal in Marseille in one go, after not touching a skateboard game in many years, let alone a skateboard game on a pc. C-V-B-Spacebar still feels so natural.

There were some cool levels in 4 that I'd have liked to see.

They've already changed too much for it to properly service my nostalgia :(

I have Tony Hawk 2X which includes all the levels and even bonus levels (granted not in HD) but still hope there is more than just a handful of level in HD.

Just maintain the original soundtracks and give us revert and I'll be beyond stoked. Hell, even a similar soundtrack would be fine. Just so long as it's 90's alt nostalgia and not a "brand new soundtrack featuring Linkin Park!" or "this sounds like the hip-hop and alt rock you like, right guys?"

I am cautiously optimistic.

I am kind of ashamed to admit that I would pay full price for a remake of THPS4, I love that game to death.

And 2 is a very special game because it helped to define the musical tastes of many people. God damn, the Pro Skater games are so amazing. Then they made THUG2 and... =/
