Trine Hits US PlayStation Store October 22

You wanted to know when Trine is coming to the PlayStation Network. So did we. After an uncharacteristic first launch in Europe, Nobilis has announced it will finally bring the physics-based fantasy action game to the PS3 on October 22. (Don't forget, an Xbox Live Arcade release is also coming from Atlus at some point, but there's no indication when that will happen. So if you've got both consoles, I'd recommend you go ahead and pick up the PSN version, assuming it works as well as the PC original did.)
 
This is a tad bit later than the "end of July" timeframe the publisher originally predicted, but three months late or not, I'm pretty sure the game is still going to be excellent. Here's why!

It's great that it's coming out for the PS3...problem is, a lot of people have played it by now. Still, many more havn't.

Blimey, not really looked into this before, but I may have to give this a go. Plus, it's already out in europe!

That's some delay... Oh well, I got it on my PC anyways.

20 days and I'll probably forget about it again.  Just sayin'

I sure hope whatever kept delaying it for the PS3 wasn't anything horrible.

Finally. I kinda lost interest with because of the delay. My money will be better spent on Uncharted 2 and MW2.

Xbox 360 version coming October 16th!

I'm gunna get the 360 version at this point. I was going to get it on PC but thought more of my buddies would be playing it on 360 and co-op looks the most fun in this game.

It's not a great game. At least I am not enjoying it on my PS3 here in EUROPE, maybe the PC version is better but I doubt it.  I didn't care for it very much.  Don't pine after this game when there's so much coming out.

Finally, I've check PSN every week since July to see if it was up and every week I was met with horrible, horrible disappointment. Good news to hear that I will only be disappointed a couple more times.

FINALLY!!!  I feel bad for not supporting this by all accounts awesome game by buying it on PC.

If you could have gotten it on PC, you should have done so already. Besides not even knowing the 360 release date, the co-op isn't really anything to brag about. The ability to change between 3 characters was the core mechanic in this game, and when you take that away things fall apart. And if you really want to play co-op you can do so with a 360 controller on the PC. "

At this point I'll believe it's out when I see it. The PSN delay has been aggravating. If I had a PC I'd own this game already.
 
I'd still like to know what this delay is about. It makes no sense to me, unless Microsoft is up to some licensing shenanigans, or Sony are just being dicks. Trine has obviously been ready for release for a long time. So what gives?

I still doubt that it will be out October 22nd.  Trine on consoles is a myth!  A myth I tells ye!

Don't understand what's taking the ports so long. The PC version was nowhere close to worth $30 but was still pretty neat.

Looks great.  Wouldn't have cared about it if it wasn't for this video.  Glad Giant Bomb is leading my blind ass home.

Surprising to see that we (UK) got it before the US since I assume it will be the other way around or at the same time.  Got it and played a bit of it and its a cool game no doubt.  Would be fun to have online but ah well.

PC version got a price drop so now I see no reason to buy this version.

Too bad for this game on PSN. I was super excited but after all this time I've lost all interest. With Demon's Souls, Uncharted 2, and Brutal Legend coming out this month, I won't regret skipping this.

In the UK Trine has been priced at something like £16, which is something like $25.  I'm not gonna hate, but all i'll say is that it's too expensive for me.  No deal.

almost forgot about this. its about time i can't wait to play it.

I will most likely just wait for the 360 version. There are too many good games coming out now and plus, achievements.
