Walking Dead: Episode Four Will Terrify You This Week

Telltale Games has recently been hinting that "Around Every Corner", the fourth episode in the developer's critically beloved adaptation of Robert Kirkman's Walking Dead comic series, would be dropping "soon." Now we know when "soon" is, and yeah, it's real soon.

Like, tomorrow soon. PlayStation Network players will be able to download the latest episode--penned by Giant Bomb pal and confidant Gary Whitta--following tomorrow's PSN update. Xbox Live and PC players will get their hands on the episode Wednesday.

The only caveat to those dates involves European PlayStation 3 owners, who will not be getting the episode with tomorrow's update. According to Telltale, the episode is in submission with SCEE, and just awaiting a final go-ahead for release.

I realize there are several other key contenders I still need to play, but as of right now, the first season of The Walking Dead has been jockeying for position toward the top of my Game of the Year list. I'd be happier to hear this if my save file on Steam hadn't been eaten by a bug. Guess I'll be playing through this one post-Halloween when all 5 episodes are out.

Here's hoping for some sort of save-builder so I can plug in my choices rather than play through the first two episodes again.

It's a lisp of "Now KISS! KIIIIIIIIIIISS!!!" because half of the zombie's face is missing.

@2HeadedNinja: If you move forward in the Episode screen menu to Ep. 5, you'll see that Clementine is depicted in there. She should be fine in Ep. 4.

I'd love to play it if I haven't lost my savegames after upgrading to WIndows 8 from 7 - sucks that Telltale hasn't fixed that problem yet.

Too bad i can't play all but episode 1 as my save file crapped after episode 3 was released AND the game broke so episode 2 stalls and doesn't load. Yeah!

Yes! Since I don't have enough money for the games that are coming out on Tuesday, I can count on the Walking Dead to be my game of the week. This is great news, I thought this was coming out on the last week of October so glad to be proved wrong.
