The studio has begun planning the next game of the series which will continue the adventures of Ghat, who will struggle against new and old conflicts. Father Mother, the mysterious Golem and new characters will be making an appearance in the next title. The story will be set after the events that take place in the first game. ACE Team wants the next installment to be much larger in scope, so the new game will feature open ended gameplay with large explorable environments and RPG elements. The unique melee combat system that made the first game a success will also be expanded to feature even more brutal and engaging gameplay.

Apparently Area 5 didn't learn its lesson the first time! Suckers!
For some unfathomable reason, the affable chaps at Area 5 didn't get their fill of me the last time I appeared on their weekly Revision 3 games show Co-Op, so they invited me back on for this week's episode to talk about ACE Team's wonderfully weird Source Engine shooter Zeno Clash. I like to think they were just looking for as many people as they could find to sing the praises of this relatively inexpensive downloadable game. The more people that hear about--and hopefully buy--Zeno Clash, the better.
Here's the episode; our segment is somewhere in the middle.
Actually, it seems like this little indie game that could is doing better than I expected it to; the developers have already confirmed a sequel with way more ambitious RPG elements and an expanded melee system is already in the works.
Congrats to ACE Team on its quick success, and thanks to Area 5 for letting me invade their show!
