Assuming your 3DS or Vita battery can last, the Federal Aviation Administration has announced passengers will soon be able to power their electronic devices gate-to-gate.
Due to concerns about signal interference, passengers have been asked to switch off their devices, be they gaming or otherwise, while the plane was taking off or landing.
Airlines must reportedly demonstrate devices will have no impact on their flight electronics before the rule change is applied, but it’s expected these changes will roll out universally by the end of 2013.
This will serve me well for catchin’ Pokemon on a flight I’ve got coming up soon.
