A bundle with games that are actually good! Who'd a thunk it!
Microsoft announced this morning that it would be rolling out an upgraded version of its Xbox 360 Elite package this May. Named the Xbox 360 Game of the Year Bundle, the package is to include the same black Xbox 360 console and 120GB hard drive as the standard Elite, as well a copy of Halo 3 and Fable II, all for the same $399 price that the Elite package currently commands. Microsoft has been bundling games with its Elites for a while now, though Halo 3 and Fable 2 arguably make this a sweeter deal than LEGO Indiana Jones and Kung-Fu Panda for a new Xbox 360 owner.
if I was to buy a 360 it'd probably be this model and i'd sell Halo 3 and pick up something like Lost Odyssey but much better than Kung-Fu Panda & Lego Indiana Jones.
Cool. My X360 Elite red ringed a few weeks ago, and I'm going to be getting a reimbursement from Best Buy to get a replacement. This bundle actually makes this hassle seem worthwhile. I can sell two pretty awesome games to a friend!
$400 with 2 great games is a great deal. Sony needs to start bundling their exclusives soon. I'm guessing that in a year's time, they'll bundle Killzone 2 and LBP with their $400 system.
Best deal I think I ever seen, too bad I already own a 360 Elite. But man if you were still on fence I think this the deal breaker. Unless of course you some loser fanboy.

I agree. I never thought I'd buy an xbox, let alone a 360, but I'm looking for a new system and after seeing this deal I think this is what I'm going to go for.
