A bundle with games that are actually good! Who'd a thunk it!
Microsoft announced this morning that it would be rolling out an upgraded version of its Xbox 360 Elite package this May. Named the Xbox 360 Game of the Year Bundle, the package is to include the same black Xbox 360 console and 120GB hard drive as the standard Elite, as well a copy of Halo 3 and Fable II, all for the same $399 price that the Elite package currently commands. This is a great bundle. I feel jealous of anyone about to get it. I paid $399 for a Xbox 360 with a 20 GB hard drive and no games included, for god sakes.
Man, I'm jealous. I paid that much for a standard, with a 20gb HD and no game bundle. This is an awesome bundle. (And I'm not even huge over Halo 3, but the fun sure is there.)

Yeah same man. Its a good time to buy a 360. Thats for sure.
I got some midnight club racing game bundled with mine, remains unopened. Was annoying as I got a 360 specifically for Fable2. Bundles have always been pretty bad but this is a step in the right direction.
Though PS3 bundled Resistance2+CoD:WaW which wasn't bad.

i know X-Play gave Fable 2 game of the year, i do wish it was like fallout 3 or bioshock instead of halo 3, im not a fan of halo...its kinda like the orange box. 2 great games and a system for 399, thats not bad
sweet this is pretty awesome. Hopefully I'll be able to buy this with some of the money i get from my new job. Unfortunately up til now my parents havn't allowed me to get a 360. I'll finally be able to expand beyond the wii!
bc in about a full month from now it's going to be E3 and with that means possible price cut announcements. we don't want to be that guy that goes out, buys something and then june 1st comes around and awwwh... price cut.
most likely nothing's going to be happening this e3 but hey you never know and it's just 1 month to wait out from buying any video game related stuff.
Hey good games aren't new to the whole pack in thing, they had Forza 2 and Marvel Ultimate Alliance one year. I ended up getting that for free when my 360 busted and I got a new one with my PRP at the local GameStop. I knew the people there so the let me keep my HDD with all the goodies on it and just switched out the systems and let me keep the games. I always hated Forza before I got it for free and gave it a chance, now I can actually see the draw to racing sims and enjoy Forza 2 quite a bit myself.
I have friends that would only need the Halo 3 in that package. Play in perpetually. Me, I'm running around Albion giving everyone a thumbs up, and occasionally accidentally triggering a fireball.
