I'd watch it if I didn't absolutely despise GameTrailers.  The average visitor to that site is either too young or too dumb to be considered a functioning human being.

I'm going to have to agree that Mirror's Edge is not being marketed especially well at all. I don't think it will put up numbers nearly as big as Assassin's Creed. However, that's not to say I'm not excited for it.

People forget that Fallout is a word-of-mouth game, if it hits the fans, they will be the one to put the game on their shoulders.

DrLove is probably right, I heard about the "headache problem". I just don't want him to be right, it's a really solid concept: gun-less kinetic fighting.

Im actually surprised how good it was. Also it  was nice to see an analyst expert type that actually knew what the fuck he was talking about. Not the type that go onto mainstream news shows.

I agree that LBP may move console sales to some significant degree.  Fallout 3 will probably appeal more to core gamers.  Definitely Fallout 3 has played the low publicity card,
I wonder how much that will mean.  As mentioned, one of the reasons CoD4 sold so well is that it is a fantastic game.  Word of mouth is still one of the best forms of advertisement.  

Dead Space looks great.  I will rent that for sure.

I don't know why GT wants to pretend they're a TV network. It's annoying as hell to watch them spend the first and last five minutes repeating what has been said or what will be said.. or the fact that they have to cut up a 15 minute discussion into four weekly sections. It's dumb.
If I wanted Gerstmanns opinion on something, and I often do, I come here where there's no bullshit.

Definitely a worthwhile watch.  But I'm wondering why there wasn't more on Fable 2.  In regards to the teaser to the final part where there was mention of Fable 2 not doing as well as MS hopes, I'm not so sure about that.  I believe the original sold about 3 million copies, and for my friends that are more casual game players, Fable 2 has been their most anticipated game for a longtime.

I think there are quite a few non-hardcore game players who played the original Fable and really enjoyed it, and they'll snatch up a copy of Fable 2 without a second thought.

Don't get why people hate Pachter, I think he provides an interesting perspective from a business angle and seems completely pleasent.

Its very good, I like this style as it reminds me a bit of the Giant Bombcast. Both sets of teams compliment each others styles well, like the video has the business person and he adds some interesting points and Geff with the other reviewer make good points about actual gaming. The host leads it well. Its like the podcast where Ryan leads it well and everybody adds their points. I like these sort of things where I can feel the hype for games and its honest thoughts rather than having marketing tell me what to buy.

I got myself caught up on parts 1 and 2 and watched this one. Pretty good so far, though Pachter bugs me quite a bit.\

His analysis on Microsoft and Sony and everyone else is okay. But he starts pulling statements out of his ass whenever the subject is on Nintendo.

Good to see their input on Wii Music, but I disagree with Pachter's statement of Wii music being "Rock Band on training wheels." You get much more control over the music than what I've seen with Rock Band and Guitar Hero. You just press buttons to the correct timing, and the only influence you have in those games really is the whammy bar.

I now anticipate part 4. Oh, and Jeff, good job on the show.

If anything, Fable 2 might appeal more to casual gamers than Fallout 3, mostly in difference in tone and complexity. Fable is very easy for anyone to understand, Fallout not so much. You need people who've either played Oblivion or know what STALKER is all about. And also, playing previous Fallouts would help. Fable 2's marketing is big, did you see the Sci-Fi TV special? Along with Dead Space? Fallout 3, I barely have seen anything, even just gameplay footage.
