Zelda: Four Swords Coming To DSi as Free Download

Hop on the Nintendownload Xpress this September and play this free download.

That sword is going to turn one Link into FOUR LINKS

This September, there will finally be a new reason to log onto DSiWare. No, there isn't a new myNotebook release (this time). Rather, you should log onto DSi Store this September to download a free copy of the strange, eccentric, and super cool game, Zelda: Four Swords.

A local multiplayer- based cooperative offering released as a pack in to the GBA port of A Link To The Past, Zelda: Four Swords was a really neat multiplayer offering that still worked around the standard Zelda mechanics. And now, you'll be be able to download the full game for free this September, as part of Zelda's 25th anniversary.

Is a free game enough for you to log onto DSiWare? It is for me.

In case anyone is wondering, you'll be able to get this on 3DS as well since all DSIware software is available through it too.

I have to go find a GBA game link cable.

I liked this game for GameCube so I'll pick this up for my DSi.

I would love to see this in the eShop also. Because I'm not gonna buy a DSi.

Well... you only NEEDED one...

True, but I always felt that playing a multiplayer-focused game by yourself was kinda ruining the game's true experience. To each his own, I suppose.

No I mean you only needed one friend. You couldn't play the original Four Swords single player; it was multi only. I thought it was a pretty good experience even with just two players.

@MythDarK:

The eshop has all DSi Ware..

Hopefully you can play online, because I'm the only one of my friends that cares about gaming enough to buy a handheld.

The game put a lot of my friendships on the rocks back in the day. "I'm gonna knock you in the swamp with my sword like a jerk 'cause I need those sweet, sweet rupees!"

For the record, this is the GBA version that was included with Link to the Past, not the full Gamecube game.

I could never find any friends to play with. It's why I managed to 100% A Link to the Past (only game I've ever finished 100%, too).

Can i download this on my 3ds?

Hoping this will make it to 3DS as well, as I own a DS Lite and see no need for a DSi considering 3DS is already out.
