How else can you make a space racist appealing? Plus, it makes sense for a bit more femininity to shine through since she's no longer a marine.

I think her facial features are pretty much the same. She's just wearing more make up it looks like. Is that the problem?

Considering how I think every human in Mass Effect looks like a lump of sculpted, shiny plastic with greasy but hard hair that sounds like a compliment. Seriously, Bioware can't do people at all.

@Tim_the_Corsair: They certainly look better in ME3 but it doesn't change the fact they've always looked pretty wooden to me.

I mean, their hair is parted in the same direction, and they're both wearing catsuits, but that really describes any number of sci-fi ladies, you know? Beyond that, I don't really see a resemblance.

But the real reason I posted the PDZ version was because her hair looks at least a bit more like Ashley's than the original Joanna.

Well, I still killed her off in my main playthrough, because obnoxious space racism is racist. Of course, they could pull an Anders and rewrite her so much that she practically isn't the same character. Bioware isn't above doing that, I mean they managed to trivialize the roles of Specter and Grey Warden in ME2 and DA2 respectively despite those practically being the apex of the first games' plots.

I never thought Ashley was a good character. At least now she's mildy attractive
