Overview
Assassin's Creed Chronicles: India is a 2.5D historical-fantasy side-scrolling platformer developed by Climax Studios (along with Ubisoft Montreal Studios) and digitally published by Ubisoft for the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC on January 12, 2016.
The second chapter in the Assassin's Creed Chronicles trilogy (a spin-off of the mainline Assassin's Creed series), Assassin's Creed Chronicles: India switches the sub-series' focus from 16th-century China to 19th-century India, with players controlling the Indian Assassin Arbaaz Mir (previously the focus of the graphic novel Assassin's Creed: Brahman) as he fights the Templar Order for control of a powerful Precursor artifact during the Anglo-Sikh Wars.
As with the other two games in the series (Assassin's Creed Chronicles: China and Assassin’s Creed Chronicles: Russia), all three were released in a single compilation (known simply as Assassin's Creed Chronicles), which also received a retail release (and, later, a PlayStation Vita release).
