Anyway, for some reason I am unjustly excited about this.

I just can't get excited for this. I think AC3 is the biggest I've been burned on a series and I just can't get into whatever else they do. Hopefully AC4 is a large improvement over what AC3 turned out to be.

This looks like a really good pirate game and I'm excited for it, but I have NO IDEA why it's an Assassin's Creed game.

I thought AC3 was fine. Ship combat looks cool, flat cities don't, and I found the trailer, due mostly to the narrator, a solid meh.
