So after watching the Happy Hour, and then the quick look, I cannot help but think how pointless walking around slow is. My reasoning is this. The bar at the bottom points in the general direction of your target. As you get closer it fills up till it is pretty obvious who the dude is. Therefore if you sit on a bench and chill out, the pursuer is going to be lead right up to you. Yet as your sitting on a bench it should be impossible for someone to tell your not an NPC.. Yet because of the big bar at the bottom the dude is going to walk straight up to you.. I am really confused and hope I am completely wrong.

You not supposed to just sit around. Your an assassin. Your supposed to HUNT down your target. Not sit around like a moron.

It is the mindset of the game. Slowly creeping up behind your target and lashing out for the kill. Not running full sprint around like a moron.

Ok so walking up to your target, who is also walking. Whats the point of walking and trying to blend in when there is an arrow on the hunters head pointing directly at you?

@mattjam3000: If you are walking/blending instead of running then they do not get an indicator that they are being pursued by an assassin, so you can get really close.

This is what I mean mate. They are doing the same thing. So your tracking someone who is only walking around with NPCS, surely this person is never going to get a kill, but also should never be killed as they should be completely incognito right.

He will be killed by the one with the contract, or the next assassin. You get a picture of your victim in the upper right corner, and the bar goes full and blinks when your near them. If you can't seen them, go for the most likely one according to the statusbar. I've often killed my victims even though they're disguised. It works quite well. I tend to run to my victim and walk towards them (bonus points rocks).
The best is getting the message that your pursuer has killed an innocent, meaning your disguise or gate running worked (so rewarding).
