So I might be reaching a little bit on this one but I think Desmond refers to some games Mr. North has appeared in recently. During the first time you are outside the Animus you encounter a platform that requires team work. 
 
Desmond says something along the lines of "wanna boost me up?" and right after that "how bout I throw you up there and you pull me up?" 
 
Is this referring to the team ledge climbing moments in Uncharted 2 and the Elika gameplay in Prince of Persia 08?

Might be a reference but those also just seem like things that are in lots of games so a dude like Mr. North who voices a billion games is going to talk about them in multiple titles.
