Oh wow. I thought this game was gonna be some bunk ass, half an iteration... imagine my surprise when I see it's an actual game. Brotherhood gives me that same feeling I got from playing AC Deuce; Well realized characters, and proper program progression (yeah, I stretched the alliteration there).
It may just be that whole "king turd of shit mountain" type of hype for me right now, but I'm really diggin this game. Maybe it's just amazing what you can see when you put that gaming cynicism aside.
Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood
Game » consists of 16 releases. Released Nov 16, 2010
The third installment in the Assassin's Creed franchise, this game's story picks up right after the events of Assassin's Creed II, showing Ezio Auditore traveling to Rome to recruit a new force of assassins. Brotherhood is the first game in the series to offer online multiplayer.
Not actually 2.5
" King Turd of Shit Mountain??? "As in there aren't that many releases out right now...

" Just goes to show you can think what you want, but until you've done/tried something you can never really know how it will be. "Damn straight.
I just think all the surprise is coming from Ubi's poor-ass marketing job. For a long ass time I thought this game was coming out 2011 until like last month, and even then I thought the game was shit until I saw the QL of the MP beta. Then I thought that was neat, but not good enough to warrant a purchase, because the SP is what you come for in an Assassin's creed game and since they weren't mentioning it I thought it would bee tacked on. I saw the dev diary with the assassin thing and thought it was cool but not enough to warrant a purchase, then Ryan ups and says that the SP is awesome and warrants a buy without the MP, and was really like AC2 but better. I really think it's a matter of Ubi just doing a poor job of telling the public what the game is or what the focus is.
Yay. I'm definitely picking it up tomorrow. It was a tough decision between this and Need for Speed. But I keep thinking about the fun I had with AC2, and i can't say no to this. Even if it has a throwaway multiplayer, a solid single player experience is all I need.
Picking mine up tomorrow. Cause Australia is messed up and we get stuff late AND have to pay double price. T_T
Glad to hear it's good. Looking forward to stabbing more people in the neck. Been wanting to kill someone for a while now. Good thing i never ended buying that pocket knife...
I'm psyched to try it now. Wasn't too sure to begin with, but if you say it's more than just an undownloadable DLC (Food for Thought), then I'm in.
No matter how amazing it is, they will never convince me that this wasn't an afterhought in response to someone's realization that they could probably milk FOUR games out of the audience, rather than just the three (you know, being that the story is a trilogy). Also, I just don't want more Ezio. Good god, I'm done with Ezio. Granted, if the game is great it probably shouldn't matter what the motivation for making it was, but . . . somehow it kind of does. To me, at least.
