So many of you will read this title and think I'm rather dumb. I agree. I swear, until like 10 minutes ago (watching the quick look) I thought this was some sort of DLC for AC2. I have no clue why I thought that, but hadn't really paid much attention because while I like AC, I haven't been very interested in the 2nd and wasn't very interested in purchasing it. But now that I see this is a full separate game, I may buy. The multiplayer looks really really satisfying.

this is a full game
Until not too long ago, I thought it was just a multiplayer game. Apparently it's got some good single player in there too. I'm much more excited than I was.
" It's not a real AC game. Desmond isn't in it, it's just a cash-in. I will pass. "Same with me, I have no interest with multiplayer on such a game.
Other than that, what do they have going for it?

"Actually, the whole multiplayer concept grabs me. But I wasn't really interested in buying AC2 just to play this game. Apparently I'm dumb though and now I'm potentially really interested in this game.

I'm on the fence about this game, while I enjoyed AC1+2 alot, this seemed like some easy money and an excuse to throw in multiplayer, but the beta is damn fun and the singleplayer seems vastly improved. I've always enjoyed the recruiting of random guys and leveling them like MGS Peacewalker, the way AC:B is doing it looks good too, but it still felt like it wasn't needed."
But if Desmond is in it as the screenshot implies and the story continues off from AC2, then I will pick it up.

" @Damian said:I think the $60 price is easily justified considering the length of the SP and all the new content, modes and features. Is it a cash-grab to extend the returns of their #1 franchise (pegged as a trilogy from the outset)? Probably. Will it be $60 worth of fun for someone who liked AC1+2? My only concern is the rush to get it out only a year after AC2. What levels will they have to cut, to later sell? What bugs will the story mode have? What added story have they drummed up to justify the semi-sequel?
Quality issues like that could make me reconsider this value proposition. But if what they're showing me works, I'm there.
Been playing ACB all afternoon and I've enjoyed it even more than I enjoyed ACII. As a bit of background, I played about a third of ACI before getting bored with it, however I absolutely fell in love with ACII for many many reasons. If you liked the base story flow and game mechanics in ACII, you'll probably love ACB because it improves on just about all of them. Unless they completely botch the late game, I would say the worst part of the game is that it makes you want ACIII really really badly.I think the $60 price is easily justified considering the length of the SP and all the new content, modes and features.
