    Game crashing on startup...any ideas?

    I picked this up during a recent Steam sale for 5 bucks...the only game in the AC franchise I've played is the first one, so figured this was a good time to start getting caught up. By the time I finish this one maybe AC3 will be on sale. Finally got around to installing it, only to discover I now have to deal with some ridiculous Ubisoft U-Play front end which I also have to log in to now. Did all of that...started the game...it crashes as soon as I click on it.

    Anyone have any experience getting this game to work in Windows 7? Is there a workaround to this stupid U-Play thing? I did some searching and reading on the Steam and Ubi forums and didn't find anything helpful.
