    Please. No system fanboys. I just need to know what really is better if it even does have a major, or minor difference.

    From what I understand the 360 version is slightly smoother than the PS3, but the difference is so minute that it doesn't even matter.

    If you haven't played it yet, you're in for a treat.  This was my favorite game of 2009.

    I rented it for the 360 and wound up buying a copy for PS3. I found that the framerate was better on the 360 but the PS3 version had better anti aliasing.

    I would probably go for the 360 version.

    I played it on PS3 and the frame rate dips occasionally. You should get it on 360 just for the performance, I just like playing those type of games with a dualshock.

    the difference between the two doesn't matter. it's Minute. I played it on the 360 and enjoyed it very thoroughly. just pick your console of choice IMO.

    Alright, thanks. That's good enough posts to tell me which one to get. 360 it is.

    The graphics are noticeably worse on PS3. You're doing yourself a disservice if you don't get the 360 version.

    The 360 version works great. I never got to play AC2 on my PS3, but I can't imagine its too much worse, or better for that matter. Only a few games seem to have a difference between the systems. (Bayonetta and FFXIII are all I can think of)

    Anyone who says the PS3 version looks "noticeably worse" is quite honestly pathetic, and a filthy liar. There are a few frame-rate dips on the PS3, so I'd say the 360 is the way to go, but they're almost identical.

    My first play was on the PS3, but I own it myself for the 360. Compared to the 360, the PS3 version is a little stuttery with the frame rate. I also found that loads were faster on the PS3 unless you're planning on installing the game to the 360 hard drive, in which case the difference was negligible. Basically, it's a toss-up. The frame rate dips on the PS3 (I still can't understand why this is so common) don't detract enough from the game to make a difference.

    They just create the game on the X360 and then port it to PS3 without adapting it to the PS3 hardware, like all developers do.

    i own PC and PS3 and my suggestion is PC

    but it seems that all games are better on the X360.. it doesnt make fucking sense. the PS3 is supposed to be the better hardware that rarely breaks down, yet all games look and feel better on the X360

    @Ahmad_Metallic:
    That's because the hardware on the PS3 is more complex for developers to work with. However, PS3 exclusives do look great and that's because it's only tilted to one platform, meaning that the developers can use time and invest themself into the hardware. This is another good example that numbers on the paper doesn't necessarily mean what the outcome will be.

    Generally with stuff like this the variations are so small that it makes little to no difference. I've heard that the 360 version is slightly smoother, but I doubt there's much in it, and certainly not enough to worry about.

    Hope you enjoy it though. AC2 is a fantastic game! :)

    From what I've seen in comparisons, the 360 seems just a tiny bit better. And of course, as a PC fanboy, I'm going to say it's best on PC.
