So it's like 2:30 in the morning over here, and after 20+ hours of crap, I finally got the Armor of Altair.  I personally think it looks amazing.  I never liked the half-cape thing Ezio wears, but this totally makes up for it.

I do really like the black robes, although a lot of people grew really attached to the white over the past game and a half.

@tamerxero: I actually kind of like the cape (only unlocked the default black and the medici cape so far), but i heard the armor looks pretty badass as well. Is it an actual armor, or an outfit? Cause i was thinking that you could get Altair's outfit from the Uplay store and then get his armor and be all Altair-pimped out.

@DystopiaX: They're both the same thing.  And its both armor and an outfit, if that makes any sense...

@tamerxero: yeah i get it. So basically the Uplay costume is worthless if you're planning on doing everything...

I actually like the black assassin's robes, i think they're more sneaky like (and black's my favorite color).
Currently using the Wetlands Ebony color..

Can you dye it? Assassin White is really cheap, and Wetlands Ivory looks nice too.

I really like the new stuff, although I wish I could recolour it as well, I like it in black... but choice is always nice.

I don't know. I want to like the armor. I really do. But... I just can't. There's just something about it that doesn't sit well for me. Me personally, I think Ezio's regular outfit looks much better than Altair's armor. Hell, I might even like it a bit more than the original Altair's outfit[from AC1]. It's just cooler. And when you dye it Wetlands Ebony, absolutely beautiful!

With that said, I am inclined to roll with Altair's armor simply because it has damn good stats.

Question: why does a supposed super-stealthy assassin wear such brightly colored clothes?

I think it's free at your base, and everyone else charges you $$$.
