I'm getting seriously excited about this game. But I still need to finish Brotherhood and Revelations D:

I've never really liked the other Assassins creed games, mostly because of the setting. This lokes fantastic though.

The tomahawk is the same shape as the AC logo, neat.

@Morrow: Brotherhood as I'm sure you've heard is great. I just finished Revelations and really had to push my way through the early parts of the game but it does pick up as you go on. And as for the new mechanics that people have moaned about, you can basically just ignore them and get on with it. More importantly......I haven't finished AC 1 :s

Yeah, I caught that too. It'll be interesting to see how Washington, a known Freemason, works into the Templar backstory. Can't wait.

@mercutio123: Yeah, a colleague at work really likes Brotherhood and all the new features like recruiting assassins and stuff. I'm sure I'd like it too if I would just find the time to play it :D

AC 1 is one of the very few games I've beaten twice. Sure, it has flaws and is pretty linear and stuff, but back then I've been so intrigued by the story and atmosphere, I never played a game like that before... and I also like Altair more than Ezio.

This looks great. It's funny, but I never would have thought I would be this excited for a game in a franchise that released 4 games in 4 years. I thought I'd be sick of it now, but here we are. Just hope they don't put in that tower defense mini game thingy they had in Revelations with the assassins dens. I hated that.

I saw these in a youtube video yesterday. I can't imagine this game disappointing me.

People complaining that there would be nothing to climb on. I'm seeing lots of verticality there.

There was more than a year between AC1 and AC, but I get what you mean. I only found ACR to feel like filler, and still it was good enough so I'd rather have games coming out while waiting for the next big installment.

There won't be a tower defense game in AC3, source gameinformer.

I still can't find any of those screenshots, the link is down, what are we talking about?

I haven't finished Brotherhood or Revelations either...on a long game to finish list. But their priority levels are getting bumped up because I am so excited about this game. I love Assassin's Creed in general and am stoked to be able to play in this time era.

: As far as the 404 message. Just have google translate the page and then hit the Special section on the top tab. Then there will be a Link that says Todo Sobre Assassin's Creed III. On that page there are links to pictures, art and other stuff. Hope that helps

I wish the game took part in present day, I literally have no interest in anything in the the revolutionary war time frame, especially an assassins creed game. I thought it would be awesome jumping from skyscraper to skyscraper, at least we have mirrors edge.
