Too many Games!!

Hmm...Why didn't I get the quest?

#2 Posted by The_Chosen_Bum (14 posts) -

sounds like the Animus needs a firmware update

For those who thought The Truth in Brotherhood wasn't bizarre enough, Revelations will provide far more for the crazed fever-dream fanbase.

Yeeeeeeeeeesssssssss

#9 Posted by Shadowjester (93 posts) -

See if they had a unix based OS none of this would have ever happened. :)

#10 Posted by FateOfNever (1855 posts) -

I should finish AC2 and brotherhood some time..

#11 Posted by ZGoon (274 posts) -

What the fuck?

#12 Posted by Seraphim84 (415 posts) -

Does this mean there'll be like, VR missions?

#13 Posted by Contra (247 posts) -

cause I was thinking at the end of the last game 'man, it's great, but it should be more strange'.

Microsoft: Your choice in Animus technology since 1982.

#16 Posted by TeflonBilly (4713 posts) -

Shouldn't have taken Linux out of the Animus 2.0

Now all of Desmond's CC information has been compromised

NEVER FORGIVE!

NEVER FORGET

I'm the only person who got excited for the game because of this trailer.

#18 Posted by Zeemod (303 posts) -

So much teasery so little explanation!

#19 Posted by Aishan (1022 posts) -
@Seraphim84: Brotherhood already had optional "VR missions" for free-running, combat and stealth-takedowns.

But this is certainly not that. There's a few interviews around that explains a little more of what's going on here with the Animus' White-Room and Black-Room.

It does raise some interesting questions.

#21 Posted by Wandrecanada (415 posts) -

I think someone downloaded a Mirror's Edge time trial into the Animus.

#22 Posted by blacklab (1594 posts) -

Huh. It would be kind of cool if the Animus became sentient.

#23 Posted by christ0phe (946 posts) -

Must play this

#24 Posted by Applederp (116 posts) -

SOMEONE GIVE THAT MAN A PORTAL GUN

#25 Edited by DeadMonkeys (827 posts) -

@FateOfNever: Dooo eeet!
#27 Posted by crithon (3441 posts) -

Whoa! my mind is blown

#28 Posted by flufflogic (289 posts) -

There's a date (15/?/??59) and a message ("Is this the end") for a frame each at the end, and a mysterious figure...

#29 Posted by ProjektGill (753 posts) -

That was odd. Will probably make more sense after I finish Brotherhood although parts of the end have already been spoiled for me.

#30 Posted by Eaxis (958 posts) -

I want this much more because of things like this than the other parts of Assassins creed.

#31 Posted by demmalition1 (1 posts) -

"The end is the beginning" at 0:52 (after Desmond hits the glass).

Any ideas?

Begger: 'MONEY! MONEY! MONEY!'

Me as Assasin: 'STABBY! STABBY! FUCKING, FUCKING, SHUT UP AND GO AWAY! STABBY!'

#36 Posted by solidpython (67 posts) -

I still need to play Brotherhood... Must get on that.

Hello Desmond, I missed you. How about we do some more tests?
#38 Posted by MisterMouse (3564 posts) -

Little known fact, the second half of Assassin's creed: Revelations is just test chambers ala Portal.

#39 Posted by Xpgamer7 (2398 posts) -

So this time you get so into the program you're stuck. Or a secretly imbedded program. Interesting.

#40 Posted by BD (253 posts) -

Ezio is gonna walk in the arch it will be an old animus and he will play as Altair.

#41 Posted by Toxin066 (3326 posts) -

If you die when you're stuck in the Animus, are you dead for good?

#42 Posted by outerabiz (666 posts) -

#45 Posted by Gooddoggy (414 posts) -

I am suddenly way more interested in AC: Revelations.

#46 Posted by Brendan (8121 posts) -

Well of course the story was always going to be cool as fuck. Now I'd like to hear about some gameplay.

#47 Posted by Fracture (157 posts) -

are they alluding to Desmond just being another animus construct that someone else in the future is re-living?

Online
#48 Posted by MeatSim (10938 posts) -

It's the firmwares fault.

#49 Posted by Dixavd (1369 posts) -

MAn they got me even more hyped for this (totally already of the level with how much I love the Assassin Creed games and story so alreayd really into what they showed but) showing more  of Desmond and the real life was totally interesting.
**POSIBLE SPOILERS**
Also seeing interviews saying this is like the hidden part of the Animus - so the part we have seen up to now is the "White zone" or something and the showy minimalistic area where everything is stuppossed ot be hidden into awe and as Desmond tries to see deeper into it to know what to do now he ends up in the "black zone" where the underlining building of the Animus and the place for reason and finding out why and how the Templars got this is.

More Desmond man - Revelation is looking great - I know a lot of people are thinking "isn't this just the same as brotherhood" but they said the same about brotherhood and 2 and brotherhood really nailed it improving in a lot of ways (although the Eagle vision was kind of annoying - but they seem to have fixed tha in this one and the lack of variety of towns was a bit dissapointing the game overall and pace was really well done).
