I was wondering what time period Ubisoft should use next. I would absolutely LOVE an Assassins Creed that takes place during World War 2. I mean think about, who doesn't want to go through war-torn Berlin assassinating Nazis? Anyway, what are some time periods would you like to see in this series future?
Assassin's Creed
The Assassin's Creed franchise follows the never-ending, secret war between the Assassin Brotherhood and the Templar Order, in various historical settings, told from the perspective of the modern day.
Next time period?
Your idea reminds of The Saboteur, but, if they maintain the pace they've had up until now, by the time they go to a different time period that game will be years and a generation of consoles in the past. Not that it would even matter today I guess.
I don't know, I guess that sounds cool. I wonder if the game would inevitably become more gun-centric, and if so, how they would manage that. A hidden blade would still be more than justified, but I wonder what the rest f the main character's arsenal would look like.
The Cold War. It would be like a Tom Clancy novel, only with more stabbing of dudes in the face and neck region.
They've hit The Middle East, Europe, and North America (with rumors the next game will take place in South America).
They'll be going to East Asia with the next protagonist. As for the time period, I'm going to say the Boxer Rebellion. After that, they might hit the Communist Revolution in Russia and World War I.
Back to Africa, at the beginning of all this madness. You'll play as Adam and together with Eve will go about getting the first Apple from Those Who Came Before, starting the war between the owners and their slaves, and ultimately unlocking the secret to surviving the solar flare since there's no stopping it.
I haven't played AC3, so if they do have a way to stop it, disregard that last bit. Ever since AC2 I've wanted to see more of that retro-futuristic factory slave driven and I assume incredibly pivotal time period from the AC story.
A time period where the game isn't shit. Still a little bitter after the massive disappointment that was AC3...

To help this, one with more and taller buildings that you actually have to use any thought to climb.
The Taiping Rebellion: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Taiping_Rebellion
The European and American involvement allows easy links to the earlier games.
