Now you can watch the entire damm thing.

someone compiled all the cut scenes (or the game if you wanna be a dick about it :P) into one big movie

so now you can just watch the entire damm thing

may not be the best "game" of 2012, but dammit if it isnt just one of the best pieces of "entertainment" of 2012 or rather one of the best animes of 2012

The fight with Augus is so good, the music is perfect for the fight.

Is the DLC ending in there? Because that is the only part where I really think its important to actually do the QTEs.

Though the game does a really good job of making you feel like a part of the action in QTEs, I'd recommend to play it instead of watching this. Even though the Panzer Dragoon/Hack'n'slash parts sucks ass.

It looks like the two anime episodes and the final ending episode are all in there. I would suggest people watch the video with a controller in hand to try to mimic what it feels like to BURST for real.

almost 5 hours, good lord

#7 Posted by TheHT (10287 posts) -

4 hours at 720p only 1.1GB. Hunh.

I'll keep it on hand but I'd like to actually play it at some point.

#8 Posted by TobbRobb (4408 posts) -

@mrfluke: Yeah I'm not saying this is a bad thing! Watching it is definitely preferable to not experiencing it at all. But actually playing it does make a difference for people who are interested.

I actually am of the opinion that there is too much gameplay in Asura's Wrath.

The fights with the other gods are so good. Makes me wanna whip out my copy and play through it all again.

#11 Posted by Xtrememuffinman (958 posts) -

You honestly need to play it to get the same effect.

BURST!

Seriously, that orchestral music makes that fight on the moon so much better.

This game is totally bonkers and I can't help loving it for it. One of this years most interesting and without doubt visually stunning games.

After watching an hour I stopped (sort of like my own quick look) and it has persuaded me to get this, not now but pretty soon when the next few paychecks arrive. Looks really good, great link for reminding people of this game.

Yupp, you really do. ASURAAAAAAAAAAAA!

This file is pretty big. Firefox said it was 1.1GB but then it started bugging out and telling me it's -213153143143 of 1.1GB (which in case you were wondering is -130%, apparently) and now it back to downloading 1.1GB.

Meanwhile the file itself is over 4GB.

Someone send a link of it to

#18 Posted by kishinfoulux (2078 posts) -

How about you buy it and actually support a really good game?

#19 Posted by Superkenon (1191 posts) -

I'll echo those who say PLAY IT YOURSELF. It's worth it. Plus, support the crazy!

Still, I'm happy to see this compilation. Well done!

#20 Posted by Klei (1768 posts) -

I'm one of those aliens from mars who bought this game and thought it was really, really average and uninteresting. Especially when they spoil whole episodes in their intros. Don't judge me :(

#21 Posted by Kedi2 (229 posts) -

I bought this game a couple weeks ago and loved it. It really needs to be played to get full enjoyment.

#22 Posted by kerse (2039 posts) -

I think its much more fun to play than to watch.

#23 Posted by JohnstonThistle (42 posts) -

Awesome, just finished playing it for the third time, one of my top games of the year no doubt. And arguably it works even better as an anime so I'd recommend it to anyone.

#24 Posted by fetchfox (1159 posts) -

Perfect! Almost halfway through it. Shits crazy dog.

#25 Posted by Daneian (1172 posts) -

I legitimately think this is the best game of the year.

It's almost 5 hours long. A movie has to be really good to entertain a person for that long. I doubt this is.

It doesn't seem like it was made to be enjoyed all at once. Still, I guess that's what that "watch later" button is for.
