Fab combo. I got this in the Steam sale. How did I not have this game ages ago?! Audiosurf is insanely fun, and disturbingly addictive for such a simple concept.
My first song was GLaDOS - Still Alive. SO. MUCH. FUN. Anyway, I have a headache from playing Beat Hazard. That game is chaos encapsulated into a small window.

Never played the Orange Box music in it. It's just not my thing. However stuff with lots of timing changes and some sparsely populated parts generally makes for the funnest tracks. Opeth for example is more fun to surf than just listen to.

That seems like a bit of a weird mix to me but those are both good games. Hell, Portal is beyond good, it's brilliant.

I usually play Audiosurf after a ridiculously tiring day at  work.  It helps me to unwind.  Love the game!

I find it tempting to "just do another track" after one is finished.

I love Audiosurf. Haven't played it in a while though. Must do that soon.

@mubblegum: And that "just another track" ends up being about ten.

I find it fun to see what kind of ride the Bombcast is.  (it is usually all uphill)  now mind you I never RIDE the bombcast... I just use some of the dance and trance that I have lying around.

Ha, I hadn't even thought of something like that. Thumbs up for creativity.

I would have thought the Bombcast would be too long for Audiosurf to handle anyway. I tried plugging a couple of DJ sets into it that would have been about an hour and a half long and it told me the game couldn't handle them.
