The Gespenst is perhaps the most common Banpresto Original mecha in the Super Robot Wars series, appearing in no less than five different continuities and having numerous alternate designs.
Mechs (or Mecha) are humanoid-like pilot driven vehicles often depicted in media as a combat machine. Early examples of Mech/Mecha in video games are often derived from early manga and anime as well as table-top games.
A garment worn around the waist which is usually tube or cone shaped and hangs down over the legs. It is traditionally only worn by women.
