    The adopted brother of Yugo and the love interest of former villain Uriko, Kenji was trained in the ways of the ninja by his deceased master, the original Bakuryu, Kato Ryuzo, who bestowed his own title upon the teenager when he completed his ninja training. It is unknown whether it is a coincidence that both Zoanthropes happened to be able to transform into moles, or whether Kato somehow "taught" Kenji how to change into a mole.
