Who would like to start a Banjo-Kazooie N&B club? We could post our creations, set times to play and trade them, and generally enjoy this insane game. Who's in?!
Oh, my XBox Gamertag is Darth Nusair, feel free to add me.
Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts
Game » consists of 5 releases. Released Nov 11, 2008
Nuts & Bolts takes the platformer series in a wild new direction, as Banjo and Kazooie return to battle Gruntilda using unique, player-customized vehicles.
Banjo-Kazooie N&B Club!
my house mate owns it, i would be totally down with firing it up again. been a while, not sure i even have my game saves anymore, but id happily play the single player again to get my parts back and stuff
Yeah sounds kinda good, though i'm pretty annoyed i didn't get in with TNT, I missed my opportunity to grab brad with the sticky ball whilst using my crazy powerful jetpack and just fling him about all over the place, it would have been the greatest moment of my life just to hear brads anger and confusion.
I don't have anything creative to share. Everything I build is made to do the job it intends to do (recover from getting knocked into a lake by Brad and getting first place HO YEAH!) *clears throat*. I do have enough of those to pass around though so count me in. =]
I never found the multiplayer of Nuts and Bolts to be a big draw, but maybe there were enough people I'd be in. Of course, I also had my save file accidentally deleted by my little brother's friend, so I'd have to actually play the game in order to get some good custom creations.
I'd be up to play this game some more, it's a blast to just sit around and try to figure out how to make things. Doubt I'll ever top that Recognizer though. The only other vehicles I've made that I really like are an Arwing and the Blue Falcon from F-Zero, but the Blue Falcon isn't that complicated and a million people have made Arwings. Still, something like this would give me an excuse to dick around in the vehicle creator more.
And because I have to post it everywhere, a feature of the Recognizer that doesn't work in multiplayer.

I was totally gonna buy it for $20, but apparently over here in Canada it cost's an extra $20 to move all those bytes across the border.
$40 for a 2 year old game is less appealing though.
I managed to find it for $10 used on amazon, hopefully it'll be in working condition. So if all goes well I'll be joining the club.
I have a bunch of crazy things to show off and give blueprints to. That flying airship in the TNT was mine, I also have some more realistic things like a harrier and a blackhawk. I have spent way too much time in this game.
I bought it for $20 but never got around to playing it!!! I might have to open this one soon. It would have been easier to do so if I enjoyed the demo just a little bit!
I'd love to play this multiplayer more. I bought it about an year ago and that community was dead long before then.
We should figure out times to play together and put our brains together to figure this out:
" @Slaker117: My username is Digitalistic.Contact Dave ( snide) or send an email to support@whiskeymedia.com. It's happened to quite a few people since they implemented the multi-pass.Recently, whenever I log in, it displays my email instead. No clue why."
I'd get jiggy wid it. The matches I got in tonight were fun, and they were all default blueprints.
Worst case scenario (other than everyone forgetting about it) is we get a sweet blueprints share going. That benefits story mode and time trials as well.
I already have the game, but I didn't have it with me at the time TNT was going down. I'd be interested in playing online, but I won't have my copy with me until sometime next weekend.
" @Slaker117: My username is Digitalistic. That's caused by a bug with the multipass. Sometimes, rather than attaching your old account to the multipass, it'll create a new account based on your email. If you email support@whiskeymedia.com with your account details they'll attach your correct account to the multipass.Recently, whenever I log in, it displays my email instead. No clue why."
" It's great to see so many people wanting to play Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts...This is why Giantbomb rules....at least two years after its release......because they saw it on TNT."
I got the Platinum hits version of this game just 4 months ago, and I thought "This is crazy fun; I'd love to get creative and do a bunch of multiplayer, but there's nobody ever online." And the game handles underpopulated multiplayer... poorly, to say the least. Not sure how much time I'll have to jump in, but I'm definitely interested on a general level.
I don't know, man. I still need to finish the game. I wanted to 100% it, but that won't be an easy feat.
I'm totally in. The last time I played this game online, the only people I could play with was a bunch of Germans, who of course are now my friends.
" @agentboolen: Don't be discouraged with the game at first. It takes a while to get into it and to get more parts to use. I quit this game after a few hours and hated it, then a year ago I picked it back up again and had a lot of fun after I got into it more. "Thanks I'll have to keep that in mind when I finally do play it. Hows the online play? Is anyone actually playing this anymore?
" It's great to see so many people wanting to play Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts...So? Better late than never. I think it's great that people are interested in the game again. It gave me a reason to get the game again after being done with it back in '09....at least two years after its release......because they saw it on TNT."
Right, but so few were interested when they vote it the 2008 Xbox 360 Game of the Year...or when they sang its praises for damn near a month on the Bombcast..." @jakob187 said:

Now, all of a sudden, there is a TNT and people realize "hey, we can make crazy dick cars and shit in the multiplayer of a very family-friendly-oriented game". Beyond that, it took two years and a TNT for people to even bother looking at the multiplayer aside from those of us who were there when the game came out...and had to struggle to find a match.
Sorry, it's just a bit infuriating when people completely ignore the obvious, only to jump on the bandwagon when it's almost too little too late.
It's really is a fantastic game, though. Pretty unfair that it didn't get the reception/sales it deserved on release.
" @GetEveryone said:So you're mad at gamers for not knowing how fun a game could be? That sounds like Rare and MS's fault. Market your damn game.Right, but so few were interested when they vote it the 2008 Xbox 360 Game of the Year...or when they sang its praises for damn near a month on the Bombcast..." @jakob187 said:

At the same time, when you've been trying to get multiplayer matches for the better part of two years...and held back on buying the DLC because it has some multiplayer shit in it as well...it's just frustrating, man. My copy has been sitting at the house waiting to be plugged back in (aside from my necessity to get the Golden Jiggy gamerpic)."
And for the record, I don't remember Brad saying a thing about the multiplayer on the bombcast. Also, this site has grown exponentially since 2008.
