What do you think of our new President, Barack Obama? Is real CHANGE coming? He’s a heck-of-a golfer. I like the guy; I hope he does a great job! But would you vote for Ol' King George again if you had a chance?

Obama sucks as president.  He hasn't even done anything.

I've already got my pony. I don't know what Tek's whining about.

I'm headin' for the glue factory.

Im from Ireland so it matters little to me ultimately

Since he's only been president for like... a few hours, it is way too early to say if he's a good president or not.

^^^ He;s got a point after all people thought hitler would do a great job

I'm picking the underage foreigner option.

He just started the job today, so it would be premature to label him a success or failure.  I do have really high hopes for him, though.  I think he will do a great job.

I really don't think he's going to be as radical as people suggest. The biggest change i'm hoping for is TV shows having white male presidents again now that aren't evil.

I have high hopes for him and I think he will be a great president, but, due to time, he hasn't shown anything yet. Tomorrow, though, is a different story.

Anyway, you know what's funny?  On tv everyone is seeming so happy saying "teh bestest prezident evas".
we're going to absolutely hate him and call him the worst president ever in at most a year, just like we do all presidents

I can't really have an opinion as I'm British - but Obama seems like a good guy.

Give it three months.  People will hate it.

Well not Reagan, people had to figure it out afterwards that he did damage.

I'll get back to you in a couple years.  You know, once he has actually had a chance to do something.

I have a feeling that many Americans are going to be disappointed in a few years time.

He sounds like a good prezident and I expect good things to cme from him.

I think he will do a great job. I genuinely believe he will shine despite the circumstances your people face, and indeed the world

I think the media is really fellating him.  Don't get me wrong, I voted for the guy, but Christ, they've pumped him with steroids.

#27 Posted by JoelTGM (5596 posts) -

Don't you have to wait until he actually makes some changes before you can have an opinion on him as president.  I don't live in the US so I haven't been paying much attention to all this.

Because the USA is riding so high right now?  You can't get any worse for the USA than a vietnam style war and the worst economic implosion since the great depression.    The empire is on the verge of total collapse after decades of corruption and lobby interests running the country.

We are also at the peak of ignorance in the information age.  People outwardly reject knowledge, facts and science.  Entire communities rally to condemn science in education and instead vote for religion in education.  Ignorance on the level of hating books you've never read, or in many cases not ever having read a single book or even knowing how to read...

We have entered the age of ignorance and hate.  While hate and ignorance have always been around, they are not interconnected throughout the world via spam infested websites and awful blogs.

Well he's not going to turn water into wine or anything like that, but if he turns water into malt liquor, I'm sold!

I think he's an awesome president but I'm under aged, so I can't vote, but if I could've, I would've voted for Obama.
