Racing would be tough to do if your were out of shape. It's very hard on a person's body to be put through those kinds of G-forces, heat, and physical endurance.
ping pong...although apparently being fat negatively impacts your reaction time/reflexes so not too many pros are overweight, although I guess it's possible.

And Manny Ramirez. And I'm pretty sure you have to be in shape to be a pitcher. Especially a starter.

Nah, you can be a golfer or professional bowler and be outta shape. In fact, it seems like any position in soccer, hockey, and basketball are the three main sports where you've gotta be in pretty damn good shape to play on any sort of consistent basis.
