Is trapper snare worth the Arsenal Upgrade? I know you can use it with any weapon and that it immobilizes foes, but is it really justifiable? Also, if I upgrade the store, will I get new materials to upgrade weapons? I upgraded the Forge first obviously.

@InertiaticESP: It didn't work on some of the bigger enemies but I found using it with the Mortar weapon to be very handy. But I would leave it as the last upgrade in the Bastion, either that or the shrine.

I used it briefly but found it to be less useful than something like the trip mine. In general, I haven't used the secret powers all that much, but it is probably one of the better ones. I would say upgrade other stuff before you decide to upgrade the Arsenal. The lost and found does add some materials and other odds and ends when you upgrade it.

I find the decoy or the squirts to be just as good at taking some of the heat off, even the landmine is good for that so i am going to upgrade that last

I ultimately got it, (you need to upgrade everything eventually), but I still use the secret skill with the Machete the most. I think it's called Graver Slash or something? It usually one hits the tougher enemies, considering I went down the criticals tree with the Machete, not the "increase sword number/cripple foes" tree.
