The Narrator. The game itself never really grabbed me(i gave it a decent chance), but i do love that Narrator voice.

I realize i'm probably in the minority. Anyone else feel the same way about the game?

I'm with you. The ham-fistedness of trying for emotional depth fell flat for me. The combat was more like: some game must have done this before...

I like everything about Bastion. Best game of 2011, even beat Dark Souls for me.

Nope. If I have to give criticism it's that the iPad version is kinda shitty. Otherwise I love pretty much everything about the game.

I find the narrator the most annoying thing about the game, honestly. His performance is good, but way, way too overused. I don't need him to say something "clever" every time I break a fucking barrell.

That being said, I didn't like any aspect of Bastion, so that's that.

Soundtrack for me, narrator is great but eventually it lost its magic for me. It is a good game but not one of the best in 2011, but that was a stacked year for games

Yeah the soundtrack was spectacular, I enjoyed the narrator but it came in second to the music.

Didn't like the narrator to be honest, would rather just hear the fantastic soundtrack instead.

Im not trying to be a bummer but I didn't really like any aspect of the game very much. I didn't hate any aspect either, of course because its pretty well made just in no way aesthetically satisfying for me. I think the new game looks kinds cool though.

Whenever people explain why they don't like Bastion I'm just like "Whaaaaaat?" cause they always list off awesome shit.
