Loved BK1 - will I like this?

This game was always extremely hard to find anywhere in Canada, well, at least where I am. I've been thinking about getting it online through Amazon because I loved every single bit of BK1 and it remains in my all time favorites list. How does the second game hold up to the first?

baten kaitos origins is one of my favorite games on the gamecube and if you liked the first one, you will definitely like this one.

it improves many of the flaws of the first game, as well as provides a compelling story. there's a bit more backtracking and level-grinding in BKO than some people will tolerate, but it's no worse than the slowest parts of BK1.

I'd say BK1 and BKO are about equal in quality, maybe BKO is a bit better. BKO is faster paced and takes itself a bit more seriously.

Do order it through Amazon. You won't regret it.
