So I finally got my platinum trophy just a few days ago, whoooo! My first one actually. I'm pretty close with inFamous but just never bothered to go back and finish it again the second time.
The toughest time I had was Shock and Awe (Extreme)...surprise, surprise. All the rest of the challenges I managed to sit down in one night and just get them all to 3 medals. That last challenge took me awhile, but finally! So yeah....it feels good to have my first platinum.
Anyways, if you've managed to get a platinum trophy in this game come and tell us about it. Share your joy!

I've got 3 trophies to go till I get mine! Got to get 2 for the challenge rooms and the 40 streak combo. Where's the best place to get that one?
" I've got 3 trophies to go till I get mine! Got to get 2 for the challenge rooms and the 40 streak combo. Where's the best place to get that one? ""Rumble in the Jungle" challenge room, stage 2. Pretty easy there. Tons of enemies, no one has knifes or tazers, and you only have to watch out for people throwing the controls off the wall.
yeh i got the platinum in batman, my first one as well...
need 2 more in re5 to get the plat in that as well

The 40 streak combo I found easiest in Sewer Bat (Extreme) on the first round. Similar to the Rumble in the Jungle 2nd round that was mentioned before, but it's the first round so if you screw up you can just hit restart challenge. :)
Just finished getting Platinum. I found Shock and Awe and Rumble in the Jungle on Extreme strangley easy! Only took me a couple of goes for each. The original Shock and Awe caused me the most grief for some reason. Got the 40 streak combo on Rumble in the Jungle, getting onto the Titans saved my ass so many times!
I got 1000/1000 for the 360 version. The invisible predator challenges weren't that hard to do, and were actually really fun since you have to figure out how you were going to execute the required moves, which made it feel like a puzzle game.
As for the combat challenges, I also had the hardest time with Shock and Awe (the original; not the Extreme mode). Since there aren't that many enemies to combo off of, it really pressures you into doing one single giant combo chain in order to rack up points. Even then, you would still need to add in some combo variety moves in order to get 3 medals. Since the Extreme modes added a lot more enemies to fight per wave, you could make some mistakes and break your chain, as you had more than enough people to build up another combo.
I got platinum! Well, I got 1000/1000. The hardest part was definitely finishing the challenges. The stealth one in the hospital where you have to KO three henchmen at once screwed me up for a while, but the other ones weren't bad. The combat challenges are easy once you know how to link moves together (I didn't know about the batclaw in combat until the end of the game).
I have 990/1000 GS on the PC version. That was because I missed the Party Pooper achievement. Can I still be semi-platinum?! :D
" I've got 1000/1000, so I'm considering myself Platinum as well! "We may not have Platinum, but we have the 'completed games' screen, :/ just doesn't sound as cool does it?
" @jakob187 said:I feel like it holds the same weight as a Platinum. I just hate how the Completed Games screen is one whole panel. It takes like 16 games to fill it up. Until then, it just feels so empty (I only have 4 games on it)." I've got 1000/1000, so I'm considering myself Platinum as well! I technically have it, I beat all the challenges with 3 stars. The only trophy I need is beating it on hard, something I'll get to later.
I have 3 games with 1 more trophy to get, Burnout, Dead Space, & Batman. :P
I'm in no rush because I've gotten all the hard ones so I know I'll get it soon.
As soon as my PSN ID gets synced to Giant Bomb I can finally show off my Platinum trophy. Only 943 people in front of me....
